1. What we collect

• Account info: name, email, and authentication data (including via Google sign-in).
• Billing info: handled by our payment processor — we don't store card numbers.
• Study activity: exam/review/custom-practice attempts and answers, bookmarks, study plan goals, flashcard and study-guide views, and ratings/reviews you leave.
• AI Tutor conversations: messages you send to the AI Tutor and the responses it returns, kept to maintain conversation history and enforce the monthly usage cap.
• Community content: posts and replies you choose to post.
• Basic technical data: device/browser info and usage logs, for security and debugging.

2. How we use it

To run the service you're paying for: authenticate you, gate access by subscription tier, score your attempts, track your performance and weak spots, run the AI Tutor and Custom Practice, process billing, and moderate Community content. We don't sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

Service providers that make NurseGuru work: our database/hosting provider, our payment processor for billing, our authentication provider, and the AI providers behind the AI Tutor (your tutor messages and relevant study-content context are sent to them to generate a response). We don't share your data with anyone else except to comply with the law or protect our rights.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and study data for as long as your account is active, so your history and progress stay intact. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time; some billing records may be kept longer where the law requires it.

5. Your choices

You can review and update your account info, cancel your subscription from the billing portal, and request an export or deletion of your data by contacting us.

6. Children

NurseGuru is intended for nursing students and professionals and isn't directed at children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll post the new effective date here when we do.
